We have been designing and building power plants and CHP for base and peak load applications both in the UK and overseas since the company was formed in 1997, and our experienced engineers for many years before then.
Commercial experience, life cycle and operational cost awareness allows us to design our units with control and remote monitoring in mind, ensuring effective management of your energy supplies. Our plants are designed and built to promote maintainability whilst our independence to select, promotes the most cost effective solutions. Our control system designs are specified to promote remote monitoring; a client friendly accessible front-end belies a detailed engineering dashboard to allow review, performance, troubleshooting and efficiency. Our projects range from small to large scale and have included those that serve to support the National Grid.
GAS GENERATION
Our gas generators, like all our products, are designed and built with the specific needs of our clients in mind. Our independence allows us to select only the best gas engines for the application: Caterpillar, GE Jenbacher, MAN, Wartsila, to name but a few. We will engineer any of these marques to sit at the heart of your investment.
RENEWABLE
The need to harness energy from waste for conversion to usable renewable power is an international aspiration. The extraction of gaseous and liquid fuels from waste, agriculture, food, landfill, and mines adds to our renewable diversity. First Energy has the experience to capture and convert biogas and bio-fuel sources into usable renewable electrical energy generation, whether from Landfill, Anaerobic Digestion, Mines Gas or Sewage, the company has the knowledge and capacity to engineer solutions to the challenges of these applications, particularly gas treatment to remove water, H2S, siloxanes etc.
